Thanks for creating this man. Just tried a few cheats for a friend. The game is hard for her and she wants to have some fun. I only tried this briefly admittedly and am still in the prologue of Dead Island. But as far as v1.1.2 goes, it seems to work.
Had a ton of fun playing a little quicker using yourmods!

The exploding creatures can still kill you - one hit kills makes survivors who are being attacked die quickly too
Its great flying through the air and clipping out of the map. It brings a whole new life to the game when all you wanna do is Mess around and relax.

the freeze A.I also freezes vehicles, throwable its somewhat annoying to be honest
