Our Developer Commitments

Our mods help the ecosystem by bringing value to gamers - improving and extending their gaming experience, helping them train and improve their skills, and making games available to gamers with accessibility needs. That benefits gamers and developers.

We want to be clear about how our service works, and how it doesn't. Here's what you can expect from us:

  • We don't alter game code or intellectual property. Instead, we temporarily modify game memory on a user's local machine.
  • We never interact with a publisher's servers. Our service only runs on our users' computers and, for certain features, our servers. WeMod never interacts with a game publisher's servers.
  • We do not design mods for competitive multiplayer games. This means you won't find "cheats" like aimbots through our service.
  • We prohibit game TOS violations. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits the use of our mods to violate game rules or terms of service, or to misrepresent the user's skill or performance in a game.
  • We don't distribute user-generated content (UGC) or third-party mods. This ensures that all mods we offer meet our high standards for safety and quality.
  • We remove mods upon request from a developer. If a rights holder contacts us at support@wemod.com, we will promptly address their concerns. Learn more about our removal process here.
